Part of Woven Intersections (June 28–July 26), “Dancing Makes Me Feel the Most Alive” is an embodied, sober celebration of authenticity, connection, and queer joy. The evening invites participants to show up as their whole selves—unmasked, playful, present—and to move, rest, or simply witness in a space built on care and consent.
Curated by Teague McDaniel (they/them)—a multidisciplinary artist, healer, and founder of Creative Integration Initiative (CII)—Woven Intersections transforms the Bus Stop Gallery into an evolving space of artistic expression, accessibility, and radical belonging. Each event in the series explores how creativity intersects with identity, healing, and liberation.
This night features a joy-forward dance floor soundtracked by a playful smorgasbord of songs handpicked by local queer dancers who love to move and build community through rhythm. The evening also includes whimsical activities like the Human Laughing Worm (aka the haha game), sticker collaging, bubbles, and jump rope stations—designed for the adult kid in all of us.
Suggested Cover is $10, but we don't want that to be a barrier, so give whatever donation you can and if that means more, by all means be a patron and support the events you want produced.
