Many homeowners have heard of heat pumps, but they often feel confused or overwhelmed about how to get started in choosing and installing the right system for their home. In this fun presentation, we will highlight a case study of a current CRES Member going through this process.
We welcome Dave Petroy (NTS Energy) and Neil Kolwey (SWEEP), who will take a look at this member's existing equipment and discuss the best options for heat pump systems to meet her needs. Then, using Loveelectric.org, they will demonstrate how to find qualified heat pump installers to ask for bids on the chosen heat pump option(s), and how to find all the rebates and tax credits available.
Bring your heat pump questions! We'll have a Q&A session after the main presentation. Doors open at 6:30 PM with the main presentation beginning at 7 PM.
Note: The BCRES venue has changed: this event will take place at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Boulder.
