A 100-year tradition, the beloved Chautauqua Silent Film Series continues with Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ (1925). Set in ancient Rome and Judea, it follows Judah Ben-Hur, a Jewish prince betrayed by his childhood friend and sent into slavery. His journey of survival, revenge, and redemption culminates in the film’s iconic chariot race.
