Nude Foods Boulder Spring Clothing Swap & Shop

It's time to update your wardrobe zero-waste style!

Hundreds of stylish, badass, sustainable lifestyle-obsessed people have attended our past Swap & Shops and it's always a great time with great finds!

How to consign:

• You are required to register ahead on this Eventbrite, and select "I would like to consign my clothes". We will then follow up with you the week of with ongoing details, including selecting a time the morning of the event to add tags to your clothes (even if you only have a few items)! TOP TIP: Tag your clothes in advance.
• All transactions will be run through Nude Foods Market Venmo. In the spirit of solidarity and reparations, 10% of all proceeds will go to The Or Foundation's Secondhand Solidarity Fund, 30% will go to Nude Foods to help cover costs of hosting the event, and the other 60% will be sent to your personal Venmo after the event.
• Consignors can pick up any clothes that do not sell at the end of the event between 1-1:15pm! Everything left after that will be donated.
• We will provide clothing racks and space for folks to sell!
• We are NOT responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items.

Clothing guidelines:

• Please be mindful to only bring items in good, wearable condition. No holes, stains or damage. ALL ITEMS MUST BE FRESHLY CLEANED! No socks, underwear, etc you get the point! We will lightly vet all clothes in the consignment section to make sure it's all good stuff!

Clothes in the swap section are free or donation based :) The section will be very lightly vetted to make sure it's not just musty old 2011 college track team t-shirts but actually has GREAT stuff too! Remaining clothing from this section will be responsibly rehomed after the event.

The Clothing Cycle does pop-up clothing swap events with environmental justice in mind. We are offering a similar service to a thrift store, and our sorting model keeps clothing out of landfills in the Global South and instead gives a bulk of our excess clothing to the local houseless population. Because of this, we ask if you are able to make a donation for what you take that you do. Similar to how you would donate clothes to a thrift store and then go inside and buy something someone else donated.

The Clothing Cycle will have curated racks with AMAZING secondhand & vintage clothes they have sourced! Their curated shop also includes one-of-a-kind upcycled clothing pieces they have sourced from their clothing swap events. FAQs:

Do I need to bring clothes with me to shop the swap, shop, or consignment sections?

NOPE, while it is encouraged, all are invited to participate regardless of contribution! The swap section is mutual-aid, so you can take as many clothes as you need. We encourage people to take clothes for family & friends as well!

Is there a limit to how many clothes I can take from the swap section?

No! All we ask is that if you are able to make a donation for anything you take, you do so:)

Where will any extra clothing go at the end of the event?

Clothes that are leftover from the event will be sorted by The Clothing Cycle after the event to be upcycled, saved for a future swap, put into their curated shop, or donated to a local community organization in need. Let us know if you have an organization or community that is in need of clothes & The Clothing Cycle can arrange donations & partnership!
