Learn About the Artists
Camille McMurry is a Denver-based fiber artist known for her innovative, large-scale wall hangings that blend textile and sculpture. She works exclusively with hand-dyed merino wool, using a combination of weaving, knotting, and felting techniques to create richly textured, dimensional pieces. Her signature grid-style loom allows her to weave on both horizontal and vertical planes, creating dynamic compositions that explore the interplay of positive and negative space.
Julie Rothschild is in an ongoing investigation into the movement of making art. In her practice, Julie experiments with time, space, tension, strength and balance. Her career as a dancer informs how she considers improvisation and composition. Moving on and within a grid is foundational in her art making.
Focusing on handwoven and stitched materials, Sara Goldenberg White adds a modern flair to traditional fiber techniques. She has a lively fine arts practice and has exhibited her work at museums and galleries nationwide. In her design life, Sara co-authored Simple Woven Garments 20+ Projects to Weave and when not in her studio, Sara can be found in the classroom. Sharing her love of weaving with others is one of her greatest joys.
