Get ready to boogie down at Electric Queen, Boulder’s grooviest Pride after-party! Join us for a night of disco fever, dazzling costumes, and radical celebration as we honor the bold leaders of the 1970s who helped shape LGBTQ+ rights in Boulder and beyond.
Don your best retro glam for a chance to win costume prizes — or let us deck you out on the spot! Whether you're a disco diva, glam rocker, or funkadelic revolutionary, come ready to dance and celebrate in style.
This unforgettable evening is held in tribute to Penfield Tate II, Clela Rorex, and Tim Fuller, trailblazers who stood up for LGBTQ+ rights at a time when it was neither easy nor safe to do so.
In the spirit of the decade, we also celebrate the “Bending the Arc” exhibit, commemorating the 50th anniversary of a landmark moment in LGBTQ+ history: the issuance of six same-sex marriage licenses in Boulder in 1975.
Their courageous leadership paved the way for a more inclusive future and sparked a legacy of activism still felt today.
✨ Music, dancing, community, and Pride — all with a splash of vintage glam. ✨
Come celebrate how far we’ve come and those who helped get us here.
Free and open to all.
All ages welcome. Costumes encouraged!
