Deep Dive: MLX on Apple Silicon + Hands-On Fine-Tuning

This month's RMAIIG AI Engineering Meetup will be a deep-dive with MLX. Built from the ground up for M-series Macs, MLX is Apple’s performance-tuned answer to PyTorch and JAX.

In this technical deep dive, we’ll explore how MLX works in practical hands-on ways, and what makes it different from the frameworks you already know. Then we’ll roll up our sleeves for a hands-on workshop: experimenting with BlossomTune-MLX( https://github.com/ethicalabs-ai/BlossomTuneLLM-MLX), a federated fine-tuning framework designed specifically for MLX.

Expect to get your hands dirty with live demos, model fine-tuning, and practical workflows you can run on your own machine. Bring your MacBooks, your experience, your awesome questions, and raw curiosity.
