There is a sacred pause between one year and the next— a threshold where the old loosens its grip and the future has not yet taken form.

On New Year’s Day, we gather in this liminal space, guided by Lalitā, The Goddess of beauty, love, and luminous sovereignty. Lalitā is the living pulse of eternity moving through form— the remembrance of the infinite flowing through our bones, our breath, our lived experience.

She teaches that awakening does not come through force or striving, but through attunement, devotion, and the intelligence of the heart. In her presence, obstacles soften and dissolve. Beauty becomes a spiritual path. Love reorganises life from the inside out.

Through asana, chant, myth, and contemplative inquiry, We will cultivate a felt sense of expanded awareness— that quiet, radiant knowing that permeates the body and infuses everyday life with greater ease, intimacy, and meaning.

This is a practice of endings and beginnings: releasing what is complete, and opening to a deeper current of love and clarity that naturally expresses itself in how we move, relate, and live.

We cross into 2026 not by pushing forward, but by listening deeply— allowing Lalitā’s presence to guide us as the eternal reveals itself through our ordinary, beautiful lives.

JEANIE MANCHESTER Jeanie Manchester, founder of Anjaneya Yoga Shala in Boulder, CO, is a master yoga and meditation instructor with over 35 years of dedicated practice. She is an Acharya ( priestess) of Neelakantha meditation; A Shakta/ Shaiva Path of Initiatory Sadhana. She offers sacred Initiation into this mantra path to those seeking an authentic path of awakening.

MIKE COHEN, founder of Kirtan Leader Institute, loves working with those who feel called to chant at home and share Kirtan with others. Mike guides his students to chant at home, share Kirtan with others, lead with beauty and grace, write compelling original music, tour, play at festivals, and create albums.

Since 2010 Mike has trained and apprenticed hundreds of Kirtan Leaders across the globe. Mike has released four critically acclaimed full-length Kirtan albums and has shared Kirtan across North America in yoga studios, healing centers and at yoga/chant festivals. In 2015 Mike was honored to be invited to lead Kirtan immediately before the legendary Krishna Das at Bhakti Fest Midwest.
