A Ra So set is a journey through the archetypes of human consciousness, peppered with subtlety and meaning… at once, touching the eternal and embracing the humanity that lies within every heart.
With an ever-present attention to the pulse of the dance floor, the music he plays is an auditory expression of the love, compassion and emotion we collectively experience, day-to-day. His original productions and the tracks he selects from other artists are filled with soaring melodies and driving rhythms that evoke intense emotional responses from the dancers he plays to.
Playing Ecstatic Dance events since 2009, he’s been blessed to connect with Ecstatic Dance communities in Oakland, Big Island (Kalani & Garden Temple), San Francisco, New York, Boston, Salt Lake City, Reno, Fairfax, Nevada City, Sebastopol, Santa Cruz, & Palo Alto.
Using a sixth-sense for melody, contemporary technology and a knack for the patient, anthemic build, Ra So mines ancient ideas, harnesses tear-jerking melodies, and through pulsating rhythms, he brings depth to the dance, empowering dreamers, lovers and dancers with soundwaves reverberating with emotion.
Expect a journey through many layers, genres and tempos.
And prepare to be engaged through mind, body and spirit in waves of rhythm and bass, harmony and melody, and auditory love.
