It has dawned on me that other factions of punks do not have their own meetups in these parts... Cyberpunks and Dieselpunks for example... may not have a place to show off their gear or feel welcome... We are opening our doors to all you punks! Come dress up, relax and mingle with us.

You can enter into the contest to design the image used for this event.

Hard Science Fiction, Tech Noir, Planetary Romance, Space Western, Dying Earth, Xenofiction, Eldritch Fantasy, Animal Fantasy, Afrofantasy, LitRPG... Etc.
If you're some sort of punk, dress up and bring something to decorate with that says _________punk... Represent your community... Bring your friends and tribe.
At our core, we are a recurring casual dinner party with random folks... There is no obligation to purchase any food or drinks here though.
These events are really about providing a place to talk to new people, network and growing our creative community.
Even if you know nothing about Steampunk, you are welcome to join us.
⚙️⚙️⚙️ **WHAT IS STEAMPUNK?** ⚙️⚙️⚙️
Steampunk is a form of science fiction that revolves around the time period of the Victorian Era... Reimagining history and fashion with imaginative inventions.
We play custom playlists of music and visuals that evoke the aesthetic.
Don't have any Steampunk gear? No problem! Dressing up is encouraged but definitely not required.
⚙️⚙️⚙️ **ACTIVITIES** ⚙️⚙️⚙️
We often have board games available for use, and you are welcome to bring your own.
Sometimes guests bring crafting scraps, accessories, and odds and ends to share with the group. You're welcome to do so as well; an item collecting dust in your closet could become part of a new Steampunk outfit.
Every other month, we have a different theme too.

1 Chelsea St, Charlestown, MA.
If you are traveling via the MBTA, I recommend using the "Trip Planner" on their website. The 92 & 93 buses stop just outside our door.
The simplest walking route from North Station is to cross the North Washington Street bridge; it normally takes about ten to fifteen minutes.
In the discussions section of this event page, there are maps for both walking and parking.
Parking is available along the street, but finding a close spot can be tough, so I recommend arriving early. There is also a parking lot behind the restaurant if you'd prefer to pay for convenience.

⚙️⚙️⚙️ Simple Rules ⚙️⚙️⚙️
#1: Refrain from discussing controversial topics.
(This space is intended to be an escape from the outside for a few hours a month.)
#2: Please respect each other and be kind.
#3: Remember to clear your tab before leaving... Please consider tipping if you can (and want to).
#4: Boston is small and communities tend to be close... If you run into someone you do not get along with... please be as calm as possible and pull your host off to the side if you need to discuss it... We will try our best to adapt accordingly but make no promises.
#5: There is no requirement to purchase food or drinks here... If anyone came to sip water and socialize, that is their own business and no one else's.
#6 Pace yourself and moderate while drinking. Give yourself time to sober up a bit and travel home safely.
#7 Ask permission before taking anyone's photo.
