Advent Discussion Group: Peace

As we begin the Advent season, we invite you to join our Advent Discussion Group, a four-week series held every Tuesday at 1:00 PM. You may participate in person in the Parish Hall or online via Zoom.

Week 2 of Advent calls us to embrace the peace Christ brings, both within our hearts and in mending and building relationships with others.

The Candle for week 2 is called the Bethlehem candle, reminding us that Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace

Take away challenge: Reminding us to embrace that peace, and expressing peace in the midst of unrest, uncertainty and injustice.

These gatherings are informal discussions, not lectures, and are meant to follow the themes of each Sunday’s Advent message. Attending the Sunday service is not required to take part.
