Ready to unleash your inner storyteller? Join Clare for a 6-session Creative Writing course designed especially for beginners. In a warm, supportive space, you’ll explore character, setting, plot and voice without pressure or perfectionism.
Each 90-minute session blends fun prompts, practical tools and confidence-building activities. Whether you dream of writing stories, journaling with impact or simply rediscovering your creativity, this course will get you started and keep you going.
Sessions are:
1. You are a writer
2. The power of images
3. Character creation
4. Worlds and atmosphere
5. Finding the story
6. Share it, shape it.
No experience needed. Just bring your imagination and let’s write!
Thursdays 7.30-9pm, Bonnybridge from 14th August - 18th September. £50 for the 6-week course or £10 a session. There are two reduced rate spaces, for £30 for the course - for anyone who could not otherwise afford to come.

Meet Your Facilitator:
Clare is a qualified English teacher (CELTA & TESOL Dip) with over 20 years' experience teaching in the UK and abroad. Since doing her MEd, she’s also moved into teacher training and loves helping both learners and educators build their skills and confidence.
These days, Clare’s exploring freelance work as a materials writer and Canva whiz. She's also attended creative writing classes and enjoys finding fun ways to get ideas flowing.
When she’s not working, you’ll find her walking her dog, reading or relaxing with a bit of Zentangle art. She’s excited to share some easy and fun creative writing tasks with you to help get you writing your own pieces!
