🫁 Life Support (with St John Ambulance)
Get back into the rhythm (literally) of basic life support! Practice chest compressions, DRSABC, and oxy-resuscitation to the beat of bangers with the help of amazing St John’s volunteers.
👁️ Optometry (with the Optometry Society)
See the world through new eyes—literally. Teaming up with Oculus, you’ll learn to use an ophthalmoscope to examine the eye and detect clinical signs, while also testing your skills in visual acuity, colour vision, and stereoacuity. It’s eye-opening in every sense. 👀✨
🧠 Psychology
Let’s get introspective—explore how psychological assessments help you understand both yourself and your patients. Deep, meaningful, and maybe a little therapeutic.
🦴 Plastering
Live out your orthopaedic dreams by wrapping your friend’s arm in a real plaster cast! Learn the proper technique to make sure it never comes off (just kidding... or are we?).
🆘 Critical Care
Sharpen your emergency skills with compression bandaging for snake bites 🐍 and learn essential bandaging techniques for a variety of trauma situations. Whether it’s a slithery surprise or a simple sprain, you’ll be ready to wrap it up like a pro. 🚑🩹
