Salsa On2: Absolute Beginner
This session is for people that are new to salsa dancing and want to learn the basics of Salsa On2. We will focus on the importance of timing and we will break down the basic steps needed to have fun on the dance floor.
2-3pm
Salsa On2: Musicality and Body Movement
This class is a continuation of the “Absolute Beginner” class and is intended to introduce proper body movement and body mechanics. We will go over the basics of dancing to the “Clave”, which is a fundamental instrument in Afro-Cuban music (a.k.a. Salsa). We will focus on drills in order to create muscle memory and understand how to interpret the music.
3-4pm
Salsa On2: Partner work Fundamentals
This is for the lovers of social dancing. This is the time to learn the fundamentals of partner work dancing; specifically for social dancing.
