Demystifying Bats: A Night Hike

Think bats are scary? Join Ranger Kate as she demystifies bats. This informative hike just might change your chiroptophobia to chiropterophilia. Discover which species are flitting overhead while learning about the lives of bats.

Form will open on July 6, 2025 and will close on July 10, 2025 or when hike limit is reached.

This hike is not dog friendly. The trail may be muddy due to rain. Trail is about 1.5 miles long with uneven ground, railroad tie steps, rocks and an elevation gain of about 100 feet.

You will be expected to arrive before entrance gate closes at 7:30 pm. Plan to arrive early.

Event is free with paid entrance to the park. $10.00 for NV residents and $15.00 for non residents.
