Pollinator Habitat Workshop

Are you interested in adding or improving pollinator habitat on your own property? During this 2-hour workshop, participants will attend four sessions to learn how to restore pollinator habitat. Topics include site preparation, species selections, and learning to identify plants and pollinators. This workshop is offered free of charge to the public with support from the Bloomington Parks Urban Greenspace Team and biologists from the US Fish and Wildlife Service. A restoration guide will be provided for all participants.

There is no charge to attend this program, but you must register in order to attend.

Know before you go!
There will be no restrooms or running water at this event. The closest restrooms will be at Olcott Park located a short walk down the Jackson Creek Trail. It is recommended that you bring your own water. Sun protection is recommended.

Due to construction taking place at the entrance of Rogers Family Park, no vehicles will be able to enter or park inside Rogers Family Park. Participants can park and walk from Childs Elementary, Olcott Park, or Sherwood Oaks Park.
