Plant Energy Yoga with Brandy McCann

This is a monthly gentle, yin-inspired yoga class based on the healing properties and traits of medicinal herbs. Each month's class has a different seasonal focus; for example, April's focus was violet, May's lemon balm, June's will be rose, and so on. All plants in the class are locally available herbs that will likely be easily accessible and recognizable to participants. This is a multi-sensory class as we smell, feel, taste, see, and touch the herbs and flowers. Attendees will learn the energetics and the traditional uses and preparation of the focus plant. The class ends with a 10-minute guided meditation. All bodies and experience levels are welcome.
