Intersection of Mental Health, Teenagers, and High Achievement
Date: May 18th, 2025
Time: 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Location: 1220 20th St S
A dynamic panel discussion focused on the mental health challenges faced by high-achieving teens—students who are excelling academically, leading in their communities, and striving to meet high expectations.
These young leaders often face stress, anxiety, burnout, and perfectionism, all while navigating identity and stigma that may prevent them from seeking help. This panel creates a safe space to explore these challenges, share personal stories, and offer actionable support.
Our diverse panel includes a licensed therapist, a Harvard student, a high school educator, a civic engagement leader, and a graduating senior—each bringing unique insight into balancing mental health with ambition. The conversation will address how families, schools, and communities can better support teen wellness and reduce stigma.
Open to students, parents, educators, and advocates, this event offers tools, resources, and real talk about how we can create environments where success doesn't come at the cost of mental well-being.
Refreshments provided!
