About the event

Adult Basic Education
To be effective in today’s ever-changing academic and employment market, having strong literacy skills is vital for maintaining a competitive edge and obtaining favorable outcomes.

We prepare inmates for success by building their literacy and academic skills (ABE) and offering GED preparation classes. Through our program, we help inmates acquire and improve the essential skills that will assist them upon their release from the Jefferson County Jail.
