Join us for a special evening as we explore the award-winning whiskies of Macaloney’s Island Distillery—Canada’s bold, Scottish-inspired whisky makers from the wild west coast of Vancouver Island.
Brand ambassador Kevin Blair will guide us through a six-whisky tasting, packed with flavour, storytelling, and a bit of west coast Canadian charm. From pot still traditions to peat smoked over sugar kelp, this is not your average whisky night.
Line-Up:
1. Mac na Braiche (46%)
A rich, fruity single malt matured in STR red wine and bourbon casks. Think orchard fruit and gentle spice.
2. Cath na h’Ean (46%)
A bold, smoky dram aged in Islay casks—briny, peaty, and packed with coastal character.
3. Kildara (46%)
Triple-distilled single pot still whisky, matured in sherry, bourbon, and STR casks. Creamy, spicy, and elegant.
4. Killeigh (46%)
Finished in Portuguese red wine casks, this one's lush and full-bodied with red berry and dark chocolate notes.
5. Sìol Dugall (46%)
A heritage-inspired dram with peated malt and Canadian barley—earthy, warming, and deeply satisfying.
6. Peat Project – Sugar Kelp (46%)
A limited project using peat smoked over sugar kelp. Think sea breeze, bonfire, and wild innovation.
