With 75+ years of whisky expertise, Berry Bros. & Rudd boasts an unmatched family of experts guiding enthusiasts through the whisky world.
With two Royal Warrants and over 300 years of history, Berry Bros. & Rudd is Britain’s original wine and spirits merchant. They can trace their roots back to 1698 when an enterprising woman named the Widow Bourne established an “Italian grocer’s” at No.3 St James’s Street, offering tea, snuff, spices, and the trendiest beverage of the era, coffee. Over time, their focus shifted towards something a bit stronger. As wine gained prominence in their business, so did spirits, leading them to begin bottling casks under their label in the early 19th century, solidifying their position as Britain’s oldest independent spirits bottler.
We are delighted to host Berry Bros. & Rudd Global Brand Ambassador, Joe Whittaker, at Grain & Glass, and eagerly anticipate the captivating tales he has to share. Joe brings with him a wealth of experience, having immersed himself in the industry since 2019. Armed with a Level 3 qualification in Spirits from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust, his genuine passion for these libations shines through, enriching our experience with his deep knowledge and expertise.
