Dr. Tan is a psychotherapist, educator, and advocate with over 25 years of experience supporting families of children with different abilities. As the founder of Empowering Minds Counseling and Consultant Services,LLC, she is dedicated to addressing mental health disparities, caregiver well-being, and systemic challenges faced by marginalized communities.
In this session, Dr. Tan will lead us through a compassionate and insightful discussion on the often-overlooked grief experienced by parents of children with different abilities. Her deep understanding of these challenges makes her a trusted voice in our community.
