Seed of Chucky (2004)

“Eccentric Cinema” was inspired by the groundbreaking L.A. cable station Z Channel and its chief programmer Jerry Harvey. Dedicated to showcasing offbeat films, directors’ cuts, and the more unique mainstream offerings, Harvey resurrected movies that had been cast aside critically, flopped at the box office, or developed cult followings. Adopting that same idea, “Eccentric Cinema” brings you some of the wildest, weirdest, underseen, or most controversial movies, allowing audiences the opportunity to experience these films on the big screen.

This November, the high sheriff of Drexel repertory booking is giving the staff free rein to program their favorite cult movies to celebrate their birthdays!

SETH'S BIRTHDAY PICK - SEED OF CHUCKY: The Child’s Play franchise takes a hilariously campy turn in Seed of Chucky! Chucky and Tiffany, America’s favorite murderous dolls, are the proud parents of Glen/Glenda, a confused and conflicted doll with a taste for mayhem … or maybe just a very dark sense of humor. As the family drama builds and the bodies pile up, Chucky and Tiffany are forced to face their parenting skills while Glen/Glenda grapples with their own identity crisis. Featuring Brad Dourif as Chucky, Jennifer Tilly as Tiffany and a fictionalized version of herself, Billy Boyd from the Lord of the Rings trilogy as Glen/Glenda, Wu-Tang’s Redman as himself, and John Waters as a sleazeball paparazzo.
