Operation Overgrowth – Hastings Road

Fed up with the lack of action from East Sussex Highways? So am I. That’s why I am organising a community-led effort to cut back the vegetation that’s been making the pavement along Hastings Road unsafe for too long.
We’ll be out for one hour – from midday to 1pm – clearing the worst sections and making the path safer for everyone. Bring shears, secateurs, spades, and your sense of civic pride!
☀️ It’s set to be hot and sunny – so please:
🔹 Wear sun protection (hat, sunscreen)
🔹 Stay hydrated – bring water
🔹 Wear sturdy footwear and gloves
