Schedule + Overview:
This 3-day workshop (22 hours) is for anyone who wants to improve their woodwork abilities and take the next step in their creativity! Throughout the course, participants will build a cabinet of their own design, choosing the materials they need. This includes learning the basics of making a drawer with metal guides, discovering how and when to use concealed hinges (or "Topft scharnieres"), and figuring out how to practically install them.
The course will be structured as part theory, part practice! We will teach you how to approach a project, from drawing with measurements to creating a list of materials (Monday two weeks before the project starts) evening from 18:00 until 21:00). The workshop includes time to conceptualise and draft your own idea. From there, we will build upon your knowledge of the tools and machines you already know and learning some other new tools that you didn't use in the beginner's workshop (like a router and biscuit joiner or "lamello maschine").
With the help of WWA teachers, you will then take your idea from concept to completion alongside a small group of participants. By the end of the course, you'll have a completely handmade, ready-to-use piece of furniture of your own design. Your only limitations are size, amount of material, and expertise!

WOODWORK ACADEMY TERMS OF CANCELLATION
Free cancellation of your order is possible until 30 days before the workshop starts. A cancellation within 30 days of the workshop will be charged at 100% of the ticket price. All preordered materials will be charged at 100% of the cost. In the case of illness, a doctor's certificate is required for a full refund or change of date. materials will still have to be paid in full. Cancellation terms apply to direct payment and vouchers.
Woodwork Academy can cancel the workshop at any given time. In this case, the participants will receive an email or phone call, so they can decide between a full refund*** of the workshop or a change of dates. In the case of a refund, materials will not be charged.
When a workshop - that you registered for via gift card - is cancelled, you will receive back your gift card ready to use it again, but not a refund.
***A FULL REFUND IS ONLY POSSIBLE WITHIN 5 WORKING DAYS AFTER THE EVENT. AFTER THAT, ONLY A CHANGE OF DATES IS POSSIBLE, WITH A VALIDITY OF SIX MONTHS.
