In this hands-on workshop with Italian photographer Carmine Covino, you’ll build your own functioning pinhole camera using simple materials like a cardboard box, black paint, and a tiny hole. But that’s just the beginning.

Carmine Covino is a Naples-born analog photographer known for his deep, shadowy prints and DIY approach to image-making. His pinhole methods reflect a raw, tactile connection to the medium, combining simplicity, intuition, and precision. With more than 14 years of darkroom experience, he brings the soul of analog to life in every workshop.
