SANAM
SANAM ist ein Sechs-Personen-Orchester aus Beirut, das experimentellen Rock mit traditioneller ägyptischer Musik und moderner arabischer Poesie verbindet. Ihr Sound bewegt sich zwischen Psych, Krautrock, Jazz, Elektronik und Improvisation. Vielschichtig, atmosphärisch und stilübergreifend. Die Band wurde 2021 nach einer gemeinsamen Performance beim Irtijal Festival gegründet und besteht aus Mitglieder*innen bekannter libanesischer Acts wie Kinematik, Postcards und Al Rahel al Kabir.
Ihr Debütalbum Aykathani Malakon (2023, Mais Um Discos) wurde live eingespielt und erhielt Anerkennung von Medien wie The Guardian, The Wire und BBC Radio 6. SANAM trat bereits bei internationalen Festivals wie Le Guess Who?, Roskilde und Suoni Per Il Popolo auf. Im September 2025 erschien ihr zweites Album Sametou Sawtan beim kanadischen Label Constellation Records.

Das Geräusch des Meeres, wenn es laut und unheilvoll klingt, ähnlich wie laute menschliche oder maschinelle Geräusche, kündigt schlechtes Wetter an.
Das Ambient-Duo gleo besteht aus den in Berlin ansässigen irischen Musikern Cathal Berkeley und Ben Higgins. Gegründet im Jahr 2023, haben sie ihren Sound kontinuierlich weiterentwickelt und sich in der DIY- und Community-Szene der Stadt zunehmend einen Namen gemacht.
Mit Einflüssen aus vielen Bereichen experimenteller Klänge zeichnen sich ihre Produktionen und Performances durch manipulierte Samples, rohe Field Recordings und Tape-Loops aus. Mit einem starken Fokus auf Live-Improvisation wirkt eine gleo-Performance intim und gefühlvoll.

The band was formed in 2021 following a joint performance at the Irtijal Festival and features members of renowned Lebanese acts such as Kinematik, Postcards, and Al Rahel al Kabir.

Ambient duo, gleo, are Berlin based Irish musicians Cathal Berkeley and Ben Higgins. Forming in 2023, the duo have been honing their sound and steadily gaining notoriety in the city's DIY and community scene.
Touching on many elements of experimental sounds, the duo's productions and performances feature manipulated samples and raw field recordings and tape loops. With an emphasis on live improvisation, a gleo performance feels intimate and heartfelt.
