The Swedish quintet Pawky moves freely through the landscape of jazz – always exploring, always heading toward something new. Led by pianist Alice Hernqvist and bassist Aaron Mandelmann, the group performs original music where tight composition meets open improvisation – a space where structure gives way to spontaneity, and each performance becomes a unique conversation in motion.

Having played festivals and clubs across Sweden, Germany, and Finland, Pawky has emerged as a distinct and dynamic voice in contemporary jazz.
