The Juan and only Jessie Monk has returned to the land of the free, home of the brave, the United States of Döner im Brot. We are happy that people with such musical ability can come to Germany and perform due to the immense possibilities that it can create in their bank accounts. Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, AC/DC will all agree that they sure don't come back for the craic or the top notch grub. Germany has super fans, the superstar of fans that devote their lives and bank account saving to loving their favourites musicians and will pay for each 250€ concert ticket without concern. What brings this devotion in the German heart? This love for something, this devotion and belief in something bigger than themselves? Is it rock'n'roll? Is it America? Is it lack of direction? Is it escapism?

- We have an acoustic guitar and an electric guitar to borrow.
- We have a piano, 72 key baby size. It rocks, literally!
- Yes we have a PA and cables etc.
For non musicians:
The Open Mic is Donation based 5-10€ per person. For 4 hours of live music, this is above fair and non negotiable!
BIO:
Australian avant-folk artist Jessie Monk, harmonic seamstress, interweaves old traditions with her own music. Currently touring her new album Mis O’ The Mountains, which has been nominated AFMA’s for Contemporary Folk Album of the year, Jessie and band spend their last evening of her tour together in Kindl Stuben before she heads off on tour with Rachel Sermanni.
Her sound is reminiscent of artists such as joni mitchell and sam amidon and wilco while the lyrics are inspired by rilke and ovid. jessie monk creates an atmosphere of tangible yet experimental folklore and thoughtfulness and enchants audiences with her raw and enigmatic performances.
