HOWLING MYSTICS

STORIES IN COLOUR
sound collage & text, created in 1998 by Alan Layton. The project is based in Berlin, and has been involved in various collaborations, such as The Tonband Orkester and DIENSTbar. Layton also plays bass with Berliner band Die HU.

INTERIM DISSONANCE
The duo - founded by LILU HERLAMBANG aka A.V.SUALS & DR. NEXUS somewhere in berlins nightlife - creates dissonance, not just as noise or visual rupture, but as a phenomenon rooted in inherited imbalance. Glitches, distortions, and signal breakdowns are treated as raw materials, revealing the negative space of communication - embracing error as expression.
The result is an audiovisual experience shaped by absence, interruption, and unresolved harmony, where dissonance becomes a method of uncovering what lies beneath.
