Natalie Beridze has released over 14 albums on international labels such as Max.E, Monika Enterprise, CMYK, Laboratory Instinct, Chainmusic, and Room40. Her latest output, together with Anushka Chkheidze, was a remix of "Gvoon - Brennung 1“ by Holger Czukay, released on Schneider TM’s label MirrorWorldMusic.
In addition to her solo projects, she has repeatedly sought collaborations with artists such as AGF, Gudrun Gut, Nikakoi, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Anushka Chkheidze, and many others. Since 2014, she has been teaching “Songwriting & Music Production” at the CES School in Tbilisi, where she curated the first compilation of female CES students, “Sleepers, Poets, Scientists,” in 2019, followed by the second edition in 2022.
Nika Machaidze, known by the stage names Nikakoi (никакой, Russian for nobody) and Erast (named after Erast Faronin, a fictional mixture of Sherlock Holmes and James Bond created by author Boris Ajunin), is a pioneer of Georgian electronic music. He has been shaping the scene since the mid-1990s as a founding member of the Goslab collective. His style combines IDM, glitch, breakbeats, and melancholic melodies, often influenced by Georgian folklore and film music.
In 2002, Nikakoi released his first album on the Berlin label WMF Records.
The evening at Galiläakirche offers a rare opportunity to experience both stars of the Georgian electronic scene with two solo sets, accompanied by abstract visuals by Nikakoi.
