MOVI3 SPRINT - by Filmmakers & Movie Nerds

Ever wanted to make a movie but didn't dare to? Have a script in your drawer that should be made? Or are you a pro filmmaker in need of a little creative kick in the butt? This event is for all y'all!

72 hours of creative crunch. From Thu–Sun, Sep 25–28, 2025, we lock in a secret theme, form teams on the spot, and race from pitch to premiere. You’ll write, shoot, and edit a short film then screen it on Sunday evening to a roaring crowd. Expect up to 100 filmmakers, many teams, and zero excuses.

How it works

• Kickoff & Pitches (Thu): countdown starts, directors pitch, crews assemble.
• Make Your Film (Fri–Sat): write, shoot, edit in our creative hub, mixers at night.
• Submit (Sun): delivery by afternoon around 15:00
• Premiere (Sun): cinema screening around 18:00, awards and drinks afterwards

Bring your idea or script

You can save a lot of time if you come with a ready script. We'd recommend about 5 pages. The script has to be adjusted with our modifiers. Run time of the movies is max 7.2 minutes.

Spice factor: Modifiers

Every film must include an object, a line of dialogue, and a sound because constraints make better stories and we want to make sure all the images are created in those 72 hours.
