Introduction to Solarpunk

😮‍💨Feeling hopeless in a maniac world? Feeling like you can do nothing about it? … Well there is one thing you can do; Imagine, yes I mean that thing we did as kids. Silence your inner skeptic and remember everything started with imagining it first. It's the language of dreamers and inventors, and we all have the ability to re-form the environment around us….

☀️That is where Solarpunk comes in; a collective movement rooted in community, care, collaboration and creativity. Aligning humans with ecosystems, by reimagining our current circumstances through art and reshaping technology to suit local ecological needs.

🍄The event runs for approximately 2 hours

🍄 First introducing Solarpunk as an art and literary genre.

🍄Sharing examples of Solarpunk Art & Projects,

🍄Finally crafting your own Solarpunk project with a range of crafting tools to choose from.

🌱This is a community event, a minimum of 4 participants are required for the event to take place.

🌱The event is free, pls RSVP in the eventbrite link to hold your seat at the table

🌱The event is held is English with German subtitles on some reference material.

🌱 Please arrive on time since late arrival creates disruption for the overall workshop process.

🌱We will have a breathing break after the first hour for refreshments.

Please note: The workshop space is located directly in the Pop-up Store (the shop is located in the center opposite „Sparkasse“. Ground floor, west side of the center.
