His bands such as Asthma Choir, Newmaker, Shathp, Excessive Visage, and Grimény operate at the intersection of experimental rock, avant-garde pop, and filmic aesthetics.
On his new solo record though he minimalistically focuses on vocals and acoustic guitar.
