DANCES WITH DOGS met each other at Bimm University in Berlin, all studying music. Each band member has their own backstory in the music industry's history somewhere on this globe.

Victor Scheltiens is a former member of the Belgian band Seaside Disk, who played at many places in Belgium and is impossible to stop composing songs.

Lukas Queirolo former member of the Italian band Le Distance, who received much recognition and streams, which led them to support Tom Morello.

Leon Rohlfing, grew up with musicians as parents to become a bassist and key player with lots of experience playing in other bands in Germany, and working in the music industry. He worked with great musicians such as Lulo Reinhardt and Soleil Niklasson and won the “Changes.AWARD 2022” in the Mitsubishi Electric Europe’s business plan competition.

Now, they have come together to create a new sound in the rock wave that never dies.

howtokope. schwebt auf einer klangwolke aus grooviger psychedelia und malt das bild warmer sommerabende, kurz bevor die nacht anbricht.

Inspiriert von künstler:innen wie Khruangbin, Tame Impala und J Dilla entsteht ein einzigartiger sound. während bass und drums ein geerdetes fundament schaffen, legen sich atmosphärische gitarren und keys darüber und bilden warme Texturen, in die sich verträumter gesang einbettet.

howtokope. spielt mit zeitlosen vintage sounds und lässt diese zu einem musikalischen sonnenuntergang verschmelzen.

Ihr debütalbum “magnolia” erscheint im sommer 25’.
