📷 Città Nuda is not just a book—it’s a sensorial journey through the raw, silent, and tender layers of the city. Photographer Carmine Covino (Naples, 1989) invites us to strip away the noise and confront the human traces embedded in our everyday surroundings. His work, grounded in analog black-and-white photography, captures moments suspended between body, architecture, and atmosphere.
In this talk, Carmine will walk us through the visual and emotional creation of Città Nuda, discussing the process, themes, and riso-printing technique that shaped the limited edition book (100 copies). The event includes a book presentation, artist talk, and Q&A, with the opportunity to meet the photographer and purchase a signed copy.
🖤 Printed with risograph by Klim Kutsevskyy, Città Nuda embodies the tactile quality of analog media—each book a unique piece of art.
Carmine Covino is a Naples-based photographer whose research centers on black-and-white analog photography, light, and the emotional presence of the human body. Since 2014, he has exhibited in solo and group shows across Italy and Europe and collaborated with independent publications like Discarded Magazine and Coeval Magazine. His work explores themes of intimacy, urban silence, and visual poetry with a deeply personal and timeless aesthetic.
