The Potters' Studio

For Berkeley Manufacturing Week 2025, the City of Berkeley Office of Economic Development (OED) is excited to announce a tour of The Potters' Studio. The Potters' Studio has been a part of the Bay Area pottery and ceramics community for over 50 years.

The Potters' Studio is a one-of-a-kind ceramics center in Berkeley, California. Helping artists reach their full potential is an important goal, and they provide hard-to-find training in studio skills that are important to serious artists, such as how to fire electric and gas kilns and how to mix glazes as well as pottery classes for all levels. Their artists sell their work in their gallery and all over the San Francisco Bay Area.

• The tour will be limited to a group of 20, so get your tickets early!
• All ages are welcome but younger people need to be able to comfortably stick with the group tour

• Please wear closed toed shoes and clothes that can get a little dirty

• There is lots of unmetered street parking around the studio. Allow 5 minutes in case you find a spot a block away

• The entrance is the recessed alcove with frosted doors on 4th Street.
