An Afternoon with Shannon Hale

Since publishing her beloved debut, Princess Academy, twenty years ago, Shannon Hale has become nothing short of a children’s literature superstar, with a Newbery Honor and many (many, many) bestselling books to her name. Join Shannon at the Berkeley Public Library for a celebration of her latest graphic novel, Dream On, a series opener about a middle school student with big dreams and an even bigger heart. Shannon will be joined on stage by librarian and picture book author Elaine Tai, and will sign copies of Dream On for all of her fans. FREE, $10-15 suggested donation
