Restorative Yoga is a powerful yet simple tool to effectively reduce stress in the body, calm the emotions, and support mental equanimity.
The Restorative Yoga for Stress Reduction four-class series will assist students in releasing tension while gently opening the body in supported yoga poses designed to trigger the parasympathetic nervous system response. No previous yoga experience is required.
Students will learn the foundations of restorative yoga, starting with the simplest poses and moving toward those that may benefit certain conditions, such as fatigue, jet lag, headaches, and other signs of stress.
We will utilize equipment such as bolsters, blankets, and eye pillows to provide support and rest the body and mind.
Jason Emanuel Britton is a Relax and Renew® trainer in Restorative Yoga, certified by Judith Hanson Lasater since 2006.
