We welcome fellow sewing enthusiasts experts, and learners of all levels of experience to join us as we motivate each other to tackle our "sewing pile" -- one little project at a time. This event promotes repair, reuse, and up-cycling and helps us conserve resources and care for our planet. It's also a great way to share knowledge, learn, and practice sewing techniques while socializing and building community. Complimentary summery mocktails will provide delicious refreshments and elevate this event beyond the expected sewing circle experience. Let's get sew-cial together!
What to Bring:
- a small sewing project to work on (this could be that pair of socks with a hole in the toe, that shirt with a missing button, or the tank top with a broken strap)
- sewing supplies, such as thread, notions, tools and accessories (for your project/ share with others)
- sewing machines (if you are willing to share its use and/or share knowledge about its proper use)
