PARKING: Street parking in front of Lions Park, 389 Lakedge Ave, Chittaway Bay.
MEETING SPOT: Opposite water refill station near kids playground. . Please ensure you are here before start time, as we leave on time.
ALTERNATE meeting spot for shorter walk - Jetty carpark. Turn into laneway between 247-249 Lakedge Ave - or let us know if you live along the path & we can pick you up outside your place.
DIFFICULTY: Easy. Cement path all the way. A few small bridges.
DISTANCE: 3.6km return
PACE: Moderate. We usually have a couple of different paced groups walking this.
ACCESSIBILITY : Pram/Wheelchair friendly. Suitable for all.
WALK INFO: This walk has wide paths & grassed paddocks on at least one side. Perfect for giving our dogs space.
We walk along the foreshore past jetty's & parks until we get to "The Rocks" where we have a break water our dogs and take some photo's. This usually allows every to catch up. There are lots of rest spots along the way. Just let someone know if you are planning on meeting us on the way back.
FACILITIES: Water, seats, BBQs, bin and awesome kids park at meeting point. Toilets at Bluebell Park. Bins and other seats along the way.
All dogs are welcome.
This is an on leash walk - please no retractable leads.
Treats are fine for own dog, but we ask that you do not treat other dogs due to medical and aggression with some dogs.
