Hobbit Door Mug Workshop - 2 days

"In a hole in the ground, there lived a hobbit....". In this hand building class, you'll sculpt a Shire-inspired mug using slab building and whimsical additions like round doors, stone textures, and mossy details. We'll take you step-by-step through it, no experience is required!

This is a 2 day workshop. Your mug will be created on July 13th, 10am-12pm. It will then need 2 weeks to dry and be fired. Return for a second class on July 27th, 10am-12pm where we will walk you through the decorating and glazing process. Your mug will then undergo a second firing. All mugs will be made with a high-quality, dishwasher/microwave safe stoneware clay and glaze.

You will receive a text message when they are ready for you. All pottery must be picked up within 60 days.

Important Details:

-Clay can get messy. Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Aprons will be provided.

-Feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks. All drinks must have a covered top.

-Space is limited, only 8 students per session.

-This class is for ages 16 and up.
