Synopsis:

Clue is a hilarious farce-meets-murder mystery.
The tale begins at a remote mansion, where six mysterious guests, each disguised as characters from the board game, assemble for an unusual dinner party; only to find themselves embroiled in murder, blackmail, and mayhem, as they try to uncover the killer amongst them.

CAST OF CHARACTERS
• WADSWORTH (M), a traditional British butler in every sense: uptight, formal and “by the book.” He is the driving force in the play.
o ACCENT: British
• YVETTE (F), a loyal and sexy French maid.
o ACCENT: French
All other character accents Washington D.C (Pacific Northwest)
• MISS SCARLET (F), a dry, sardonic D.C. madam, more interested in secrets than sex.
• MRS. PEACOCK (F), the wealthy wife of a senator. A bit batty, neurotic, and quick to hysteria.
• MRS. WHITE (F), a pale, morbid, and tragic woman. Mrs. White may or may not be the murderer of her five ex-husbands.
• COLONEL MUSTARD (M), a puffy, pompous, dense, blowhard of a military man.
• PROFESSOR PLUM (M), an arrogant academic, easily impressed by himself.
• MR. GREEN (M), a timid yet officious rule follower. He’s awfully anxious.
• ENSEMBLE WOMAN (F): plays multiple characters
o THE COOK, a gruff woman with a threatening presence. (Alive and Dead.)
o SINGING TELEGRAM GIRL, a tap dancer with a heart of gold.
o AUXILIARY SCARLET, the back of Miss Scarlet during a scene of theatrical trickery.
o BACKUP COP, backup for the Chief in the very final Cop entrance.
• ENSEMBLE MAN 1 (M): plays multiple characters
o MR. BODDY, a slick, Frank Sinatra, film noir-esque type fella.
o THE MOTORIST, a professional driver.
o CHIEF OF POLICE, a cop who helps to save the day.
• ENSEMBLE MAN 2 (M): plays multiple characters
o THE UNEXPECTED COP, a regular Joe.
o BACKUP COP, backup for the Chief.
o AUXILIARY MUSTARD, the back of Colonel Mustard during a scene of theatrical trickery.
Other Information:
• Clue is a highly stylized ensemble piece. It is to be played with honesty and truth.
• Clue is a fast paced show so cast will be asked to help with set changes
