Best in Show (35mm)

Mostly improvised, Christopher Guest's Best in Show is full of quotables, as the dirty politics of the dog show circuit comically play out. In anticipation of Spinal Tap II: The End Continues, QFT revisits some of Guest's iconic work. Screening in 35mm.

At the prestigious Mayflower Dog Show, a "documentary film crew" captures the excitement and tension displayed by the eccentric participants who travel from all over America to showcase their four-legged contenders. As tensions rise, the contending dog owners find out more about themselves than perhaps they would like.

Starring Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara, Christopher Guest, Parker Posey, Michael Hitchcock, Michael McKean, John Michael Higgins, Fred Willard and Jennifer Coolidge.
