This presentation offers a summary of why water is important in Central Texas, what should one understand about water from a horticultural perspective, and how homeowners can be effective and efficient in growing plants in Central Texas.

About the speaker:
Paula is the lead gardener of Grit and Grace Gardening, an Austin-based company that provides consultation, installation, and gardening services. She teaches gardening classes, writes gardening curriculum for schools, and leads seminars on garden to table cooking. She is also a Travis County Master Gardener, who has taken advanced classes through Texas A&M on home vegetable gardening and entomology.
