This event is hosted by Cloverlea Foundation, an external community organization. We are hoping to form a partnership with University of Lynchburg and Claytor Nature Center, but do not represent them or the Center. We have been renting facility spaces at the Center for our programs.
Continuing our intentions of hosting programs aligned with solstices and equinoxes, we're celebrating the shortest night of the year together with a campout and stargazing! Come for the whole evening or just the star gazing!
We have requested to reserve the campground at Claytor Nature Center and the Belk Observatory for the experience, and are finalizing the details for that. If needed, we'll have an alternate location of Peaksville Place nearby. Registration is required via the ticket link, open to all and Cloverlea Foundation members receive member discounts and other benefits during the program.
Our partners and friends with Blue Ridge Astronomy Club will be helping with the event!
