7.15pm-8pm - Heel Shag Course £40 for 5 weeks or Drop-In Class - £10
8pm - The Main Event with International DJ Mick The Knave & Live Band, dancing till 10.30pm

Please park in the Planet Swing Car Park - come off the roundabout onto the Bedford Road and take the second entrance on the right - ample parking.

Mike & Mel’s Swingsters Planet Swing Dance Club is reminiscent of the iconic London Jazz/Swing Clubs of the past pulsates with the electrifying energy of swing music and the infectious rhythm of dancers' feet. The club will transport you back to the golden era of jazz, swing and beyond. Silky smooth dance floor alive with movement and great for Bal making it easy to swing out to the rhythm of the music. Weekly live bands that belt out swinging tunes that fill the air with infectious energy capturing the spirit of the era with their soulful melodies and upbeat rhythms.
For those who are new to swing dancing, Mike and Mel offer beginner-friendly classes in Balboa before the main event, ensuring that everyone can join in on the fun. Throughout the night, seasoned dancers mingle with newcomers, creating a vibrant community united by their love of swing music and dance.
Mike and Mel’s Planet Swing Dance Club isn't just a place to dance – it's a celebration of music, movement, and the enduring spirit of the jazz age. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or a curious newcomer, stepping through its doors is like stepping into a bygone era of glamour, excitement, and endless possibilities.
