Summer Solstice at Serpent Mound

Description: Ride to the Summer Solstice Festival at Serpent Mound outside of Peebles Ohio. Tent camping overnight at Rocky Fork State Park Saturday and Sunday.
Meet Saturday 6/21 at QCHD at 930am with ksu at 10am. We will ride to Rocky Fork State Park and drop off camping gear, stop for lunch, and then continue on to Serpent Mound. Festivities at Serpent Mound end after 7pm and we will ride back to the campground at Rocky Fork. Sunday we will ride around and stop back by Serpent mound during the day. Stay at Rocky Fork campground again on Sunday night 6/22 and ride back Monday June 23.
The summer solstice occurs this year on Saturday, June 21. The summer solstice festival at Serpent Mound runs from Friday June 20 through Sunday June 22. More information and schedule of events here:

We have reserved campsites at Rocky Fork State Park for Saturday and Sunday night for up to 12 tents at the upper campground- sites 57 58 59 and 61. Park information and map here:

Road Conditions: All roads are in good condition. We will be taking small highways and backroads. There will be some curves. Intermediate level riding.
Costs: Entry into the Serpent Mound festival is free. Meals will be 10-20 range. Campsites were around $20 per tent for two nights (I have already paid for and reseved the campsites)
