Altar Server Training

St. John the Evangelist is in need of new altar servers for all masses. This is a very important ministry within our parish and requires a regular commitment by both the parent and child. By providing your children an opportunity to have a greater level of participation in the Mass, altar serving is a fantastic way for your children to gain a better understanding of and respect for the Mass and deepen their faith.

Minimum requirements: Altar servers must be at least seven (7) years of age or older and have received the Sacrament of First Holy Communion, regular participation in Faith Formation and attend Altar Server training. We also invite parents to serve with their children, but not required.
