Junior Ranger Intro to Camping

Is your child curious about camping? The Junior Ranger: Intro to Camping program offers a safe, guided introduction to sleeping outdoors in a tent while learning outdoor skills and connecting with nature. We want this to be a positive experience, so please only register your child if they are interested in trying overnight camping. If your child is unsure but open to the idea, this is a great opportunity! This will occur at Window Cliffs State Natural Area.

Overnight Camping $40 per child (Multiple children $40 + $20 after first child)

Participation Requirement

Campers must attend Week 1 or Week 2 of the 2025 Junior Ranger Summer Camp in order to participate in the Intro to Camping event. One parent or guardian is required to attend and camp with their child. Due to space limitations, additional family members cannot attend. This event will follow Leave No Trace principles.
